Law Firm helping victims of auto accidents
All too common, drivers on our state’s roadways become
victims of motor vehicle accidents, due to the negligence
or carelessness of others. Victims of motor vehicle
accidents are left to deal with the financial and emotional
aftermath. Spinner Law Firm is committed to assisting
victims of motor vehicle accidents to seek the financial
compensation they deserve for their personal injury
claim. Our focus is on serious injuries sustained in
motor vehicle accidents, and our clients include individuals
who have suffered serious neck, back, spine, and other
debilitating injuries.
Prompt Action
The sooner after an accident you hire an attorney, the
better. The success of your case often involves preserving
crucial evidence as soon as possible after the crash.
This often becomes more difficult with the passage of
time, as the recollection of witnesses fade, and important
physical evidence, like skid marks and other roadway
hazards disappear. Spinner Law Firm has a broad network
of support professionals including investigators, accident
reconstruction experts who are ready on a moments notice
to gather and preserve evidence necessary for the success
of your case.
Types of Damages
You may be entitled to recover monetary damages from
the negligent party and insurance companies for your
medical expenses and future medical needs, lost wages,
loss of future earnings, pain and suffering, loss of
enjoyment of life, and in some instances, punitive damages.
In a fatal car crash, family members may sue for wrongful
death damages, including economic loss, emotional anguish
and loss of consortium of the loved one. Spinner Law
Firm can help you recover the financial damages you
need and deserve.
Property Damage
Under Florida Law, at least $10,000.00 in property damage
liability coverage is required. If the other driver
is 100% at fault for the accident, then the damage to
your vehicle will be covered by the other driver’s insurance,
up to the limits of their policy. If the other party’s
insurance company refuses to accept liability for the
accident, then you may make a claim against the collision
coverage of your own insurance policy to pay for your
repairs. In that case, you will likely incur a deductible,
and if the other party is determined to be at fault
for causing the accident, then your insurance company
will likely take steps to be reimbursed from the other
driver’s insurance company, including assistance to
recover your deductible.
Personal Injury Protection
Coverage
Under Florida’s no fault law, every vehicle owner must
have personal injury protection (PIP) coverage. In most
cases, PIP coverage covers 80% of the medical bills
and 60% of lost wages up to $10,000, regardless of who
was at fault. Your PIP coverage can be used to get the
initial medical treatment you need for your injuries.
Uninsured/Underinsured
Motorist Coverage
In some cases, the owner or driver who caused the crash
does not have insurance and you may have to attempt
to recover your damages from your own uninsured or underinsured
motorist policy. We will review your insurance policy
with you so that you have a clear understanding of the
benefits available to you. Then you may make a claim
with your own company for all of your damages up to
the limits of your uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage.
