| Upon the death of the
Grantor, the successor trustee can administer the trust
estate without the need for probate administration.
To start the trust administration process, the Trustee
is responsible to file a Notice of Trust with the Court.
Even though probate is avoided, the Successor Trustee
is still responsible to handle many responsibilities
before the assets of the trust can be distributed to
the beneficiaries, including consideration of possible
tax liabilities, potential creditors’ claims, and fulfillment
of the Grantor’s trust instructions.
